Families Speak Out Against Shielding of Cops Who've Killed NYers

Registration is closed for this event

Families who've lost loved ones to the NYPD will be holding a panel event to speak out against the long standing history of the City, NYPD, and police unions protecting cops who've killed or brutalized NYers. The families demand all the cops who murdered their loved ones be fired. Too often, families have to fight for years before there is even a disciplinary trial for the cops who murdered their loved ones. Families are standing up to the long history of delays and obstacles that shield NYPD officers and help them to get away with murder.

Families speaking at this event will be:
  • Hawa Bah, mother of Mohamed Bah, killed by NYPD in 2012
  • Ellen Trawick, mother of Kawaski Trawick, killed by NYPD in 2019
  • Shawn Williams, father of Antonio Williams, killed by NYPD in 2019
  • Samy Feliz, brother of Allan Feliz, killed by NYPD in 2019
This panel will be moderated by Linda Sarsour
